CHALLENGE
Our challenge was to take a detailed and complex trade infographic about Australian Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Export Requirements and turn it into a visually compelling and interactive WCAG 2.0 AA website for Australian Businesses.
SOLUTION
Through consultation, collaboration and experimentation we were able to design and develop an effective HTML solution that delivered for key Australian business stakeholders and met the stringent WCAG 2.0 AA standard for accessibility.
The visually dynamic interface and clear, straightforward user experience are hallmarks of our approach, not only in response to this challenge, but to creating a cost-effective HTML model for future Austrade reports.
The different pathways, initially represented in a detailed infographic, were broken into distinct sections for the website. Users could then access the content in a linear fashion or engage with the drop-down tabs to go directly to specific content sections. In addition, we worked with Austrade to ensure the website was visually representative of the sector and in turn appealing.
The Australian Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Export Requirements HTML website was delivered on time and on a tight budget and, moreover, can be rolled out across other reports going forward – a great result for our client.
