We were asked to develop the identity for Altogether: a new marketing and communications consultancy in the social purpose sector.
The visual identity needed to convey both creativity and reliability and communicate a number of characteristics about the brand’s style, including its inherent contemporary, urban nature. Our design also needed to embody an open, accessible, clean and friendly personality – all core aspects of Altogether’s DNA.
Our final visual identity conveys the spirit and values of the brand – smart and professional, but also a little playful.
We created a sense of totality and guidance simply by removing the crossbar from the capital ‘A’ and placing a full stop above it to inject a sense of movement, we also gave the back leg of the ‘A’ it a little ‘kick’ serif.
The newly-fashioned ‘A’ is positive and active and also happily stands on its own as a social media avatar.
The repetition of the full stops balances the form of the logo and also illustrates a journey taken together, culminating in a definitive solution.
