TKD Architects is a leading Sydney practice specialising in public, residential, educational and heritage architecture.

The multi-disciplinary firm expertly combines architecture, adaptive re-use, interior design, urban design and strategic planning to deliver exciting and award-winning projects.
Back in 2013, Leading Hand delivered a complete rebranding for TKD, and that first successful collaboration established an ongoing relationship between our two companies. In fact, we’ve often partnered with TKD to create and deliver colourful, large-scale environmental signage for schools all across Sydney.
For the first rebranding project, we combined colour, shape and copy to create a fresh, relevant visual brand identity that aligned with the firm’s strategic plan and positioned it for the future. The deliverables included a new website, logo and full asset suite.
Ten years on, it was time for a complete redesign of the website, which involved a reconsidered approach to its presentation and how TKD showcased and catalogued their work portfolio. Our solution took advantage of contemporary user experience practice and technological developments to create an image-centric site that showcased the full range of TKD’s capabilities.
TKD has over 45 years of award-winning work across heritage-listed properties, schools, commercial and residential spaces to display to prospective clients.
That’s quite a portfolio to search. Yet site visitors can now quickly find (and admire) past projects, displayed on visual-first webpages filled with stunning photography, through clean design and clever use of categories and filters.
