St Vincent’s Centre for Applied Medical Research turns scientific discoveries into real-world treatments in areas such as cancer, immunology, virology and neuroscience.

Our work with this leading translational research institute goes back to 2015, when we began producing its yearly Research Review reports. As with all our other St Vincent’s clients, this is a highly collaborative relationship.
Our design approach for CAMR’s projects combines strong conceptual thinking with refined visual treatments to deliver materials that are both scientifically clear and visually distinctive.
For the annual Research Review reports, each year’s design is contemporary and visually unique yet connected to past reports: we work with a consistent layout and style sheet across the series but incorporate different design elements each year. Through this concept-first approach, our distinctive graphic or print treatment gives each report a sense of luxury while retaining a scientific feel and consistent client identity.
From 2018, we’ve also designed the branding and created the assets for Research Week, an annual celebration of health research. Our outputs each year include printed programs, outdoor signage and web assets, among other related collateral. As with the Research Reviews, these designs call for a balanced blend of aesthetics and science.
St Vincent’s CAMR is a world-class facility that translates medical discoveries to real patient outcomes, both in Australia and around the world. Through consistent, high-quality design, we help to amplify the impact of the centre’s research and reinforce its reputation as a leader in translational medical science.
