Leading Hand began working with the Older Persons Advocacy Network in October 2024, through our extensive and successful relationships with Elder Abuse Action Australia, Compass.info and other clients in the elder abuse space.
OPAN is a national network of organisations in Australia that provides free, confidential and independent advocacy services to older people who are receiving or seeking government-funded aged care.
The partnership began with Leading Hand producing OPAN’s 2023–2024 annual report, a 95-page wrap-up of the network’s achievements and goals. This important summary usually involves lots of statistics and figures, so we refreshed the design and presentation of these infographics and illustrative visuals to ensure the numerical data communicated quickly and clearly. We also developed a clear, simple layout that carried the brand colours brilliantly.
Pleased with the annual report, OPAN asked us to design other reports, such as Presenting Issues 2023–2024 and diversity reports, along with numerous illustrations, infographics and posters. Presenting Issues is a yearly report on OPAN’s National Aged Care Advocacy Program, informed by over 44,000 member contributions between July 2023 and June 2024 alone.
Having already worked with other clients who are acting against elder abuse, Leading Hand was proud to work with OPAN. Every year the network helps thousands of older Australians resolve issues with their services, understand and exercise their aged care rights, and find services that match their needs.
